Im going to do this entry a little bit different. Im going to tell it like a story.

It was a rather warm november afternoon, me and two of my good friends were walking home from school. Jill and i were discussing how it seemed like she never swore, but she actually did, and various other topics. We were both killing ourselved laughing (at our own stupidity). From Kaly didnt come a single chortle, i wondered what was up.

Kaly's boyfriend, Nick was just in town, he had left earlier in that morning. Kaly had missed the morning of school to say goodbye, and too see him off. When she came back after lunch she seemed a little down, but i just assumed it was because Nick had left.

I looked at at Kaly, her normally bright blue eyes were seemingly gray. Im not sure what i asked her, but i remember the answer quite clearly.

"I kinda broke up with my boyfriend" she said, strong for the situation, but with wavering undertone. I must say, i was rather shocked by this. I hate to say it, but i had been waiting for this day a long, long time. I cant believe it actually has come..

I think I said "oh my god, Kaly.." and made some sort of a jumbled speech. What i remember most was that i gave her a hug.
I didn't let go until we got to her house.
All of the sudden, The whole world shifted.
